Implementing Trauma-Informed Care: A Guidebook

Published by LeadingAge Maryland and designed specifically to assist nursing homes with advancing trauma-informed care, this guidebook offers background information, a checklist, and a preliminary organizational assessment. Special considerations for nursing homes include sections on major neurocognitive disorders/dementia, physicians and contracted employees, and implications for short- and long-stay residents.
